Melody was a great help on our build project! She is up to date with current trends and styles and helped source products that I was in search of and having a hard time finding. Building a house during the height of the pandemic (when sourcing products was very difficult) was a new challenge for everyone; Melody helped source samples when stores were closed and gave constructive feedback when struggling to make some of the many decisions during a build. She made sure the project was on track and communicated well between the trades, us the clients and the general contractor. She was wonderful to work with and we would definitely consider her again for any future projects!

Working with Tangible Dreams was truly a dream. From the moment we contacted her we felt we were cared for and in good hands. Melody helped with our design and gave us some great advice. We received the quote very quickly (multiple trades, materials, labour, etc…we didn’t even know where to start!) Melody was also very understanding when we changed our minds and she promptly re-quoted all the while making us feel so cared for and was patent with us as well. Melody then laid out the time line and went right into detail…Demolition Monday at 9am with the name of the contractor performing the work. Then it was flooring on Tuesday…etc…We always knew who was coming over and what they were going to do and how long it was going to take. A major reno is also a major life interruption. Melody walked alongside us all the way from start to finish. Great communicator and always paid attention to even the smallest details. We have worked with Melody on two different renos and we will call her again on the next! About a month after purchasing our new home we could not stand our kitchen any longer!  It was just a dark gloomy room and we knew it needed to change!

We contacted Melody, and shortly after we had our new kitchen designed. She made everything so simple, took care of every small detail, responded to us quickly no matter what day or time it was.

We love this house!  There is so much potential, and we were thrilled to be invited for Phase II.

These great Clients had asked us a few years ago to design a gas fireplace feature.

In this Phase we were now asked to raise the fireplace feature to highlight the soaring ceilings!

We also refreshed the staircase area, to allow for an increase in display areas to hang some favourite art pieces.

This project was a quick refresh of the main entertaining area.

We enjoyed working with this fun young couple, who had passion for travel, plants,… studying plants,… growing plants, and the color GREEN!

The island features the Farrow & Ball tone – “Studio Green”.

This Country property  needed a few updates, and an improved connection area for their busy family!

During the reno, we watched the family enjoy cooking & working together, and wanted to give them more space to spend time with each other.

In the design phase, we discussed best use of the large footprint.  We decided to remove the kitchen brick wall and open up the view to the sunk-in family room.  We also improved the lighting & updated the flooring, windows & paint tones.

With this wide-open palette we were able to create a new dining space, ample pantry storage, a homework station and an incredible connection point – the 10 foot custom island!

It was a pleasure working together with this awesome family!

When we decided to renovate our farmhouse we didn’t know where to start, thankfully we were directed towards Tangible Dreams. After one conversation with Melody we knew she could transform our house into our forever home. Melody and her team scheduled around our busy timeline and worked efficiently to get us back in our home before the holidays and ahead of schedule.

Melody thought about all of the small details, organized the trades people, provided us with many updated spec lists, and helped us stick to our budget. We took over from drywall to completion of the interior space!

We  helped design an open concept, 2 BRS w/walk-in closets, 2  baths, separate garage entrance and a full basement. The focus on this plan was minimizing hallways to gain maximum usable space on an 1140 sq. ft. footprint.

The Clients desired a two level, no basement home, that they could age together in,  within Willowridge, an adult-living community in Winkler, Manitoba.

The tiled main floor, and beautiful open concept was perfect for entertainment.

All bedrooms are on the 2nd level, along with a “man cave”, functional laundry area, and a gorgeous ensuite with custom shower & soaker tub.

An elevator and wheelchair accessibility was designed, for future in mind.

In this project, we gutted a large 2nd floor washroom complete with a hottub.  There was also a very small ensuite, and a tiny master closet.

With our new design, the Clients now has a comfortable main 4 piece bath, plus a large L-shaped Ensuite, and custom built cabinets in their new, master walk in closet!

We added a large window by the soaker tub, overlooking the beautiful backyard space, and updated flooring, cabinetry & pocket doors.

My husband & I started a bathroom renovation several months ago.  Very quickly I was overwhelmed with all the decisions.  A friend had worked with Melody and Tangible Dreams on both a business and a home renovation, and she suggested I give her a call – best advice ever!

We heard about Tangible Dreams from a friend. Melody worked with us on the initial planning stage and throughout the entire kitchen renovation. For many months we struggled with how to update our kitchen/dining area. Then we enlisted Melody’s services and soon we had a clearly defined wish list! With her guidance we decided to remove part of a wall to create a more open concept, selected flooring, cupboards, counter, backsplash, appliances, paint colour and lighting.
